The Skywater® 14 is a home or office water cooler that makes water from air. No plumbing or assembly, just plug it in and make gallons of pure, fresh water every day. A water making machine that needs no heavy water bottles and is environmentally more efficient than water purification systems and bottled water. Island Sky's patented adiabatic distillation technology can extract more water vapor in varied conditions than most air-to-water devices worldwide.
Cost Efficient Advantages
Skywater® makes refreshing drinking water from the water vapor in the air so there’s no impact to your local water supply or your water bill. Additionally, Skywater® 14 is so energy efficient that under the right conditions it will make a gallon of water for as low as $0.16 a gallon. Compare that with $1.00 a gallon (3.78 liters) charged by most bottled water companies, and the choice becomes crystal clear. Skywater® makes great tasting drinking water for pennies to the liter!

• Needs no plumbing and no assembly, just plug it in. • Highest quality, fresh drinking water for pennies to the liter. • Eliminates recurring costs of bottled water and water delivery • Filter change only 2x per year. The machine will let you know.

How does Skywater® make water from air? Actually, it's simple:
The most abundant source of fresh water is the Earth’s atmosphere. When atmospheric humidity condenses, it falls as rain. Skywater® replicates this natural process of condensation by simulating the dew point, which allows it to make water continuously, even in low humidity conditions. This is Skywater®'s patented adiabatic distillation process.
Imitating nature again, Skywater® generates ozone to purify the water. Ozone (O3), a natural occurring gas that is produced in nature when it rains, binds with water to eliminate bacteria and other impurities. Skywater® does this by pumping ozone through the water as it is collected. The water is further purified in the final stages through a high quality carbon filter to improve taste.
The Skywater® 14 is engineered to work indoors. Production levels vary with the climate because the machine depends on the relative humidity levels. At lower temperatures the machine requires more humidity and at higher temperatures less humidity is required. Comfortable indoor climates at home and in the office are temperatures between 68º and 75º Fahrenheit (20º - 23.8º Celsius) and relative humidity between 30% and 50%.
Easy to Maintain Skywater® machines are equipped with multiple computerized sensors that monitor its internal functions: compressors, fans, replacement parts and refrigerant levels. The LCD display indicates when a replacement filter is needed, which in most environments (without serious air pollution) would be on average only twice a year.

FAQs - Skywater® 14 Water Making Machines
How does the Skywater® 14 make water?
Dependent only on electricity, The Skywater 14 makes an abundance of pure water from the air. It needs no plumbing or assembly, just plug it into an ordinary outlet and it will start to make water. See more on Skywater’s patented air-to-water technology…
How much water does the Skywater® 14 make per day? In a 24 hour period, the Skywater® 14 can make from 7 to 10 gallons. How long does it take to make the first fill of water?
Depending on relative humidity, it may take 24 to 72 hours to make the first fill.
How much water does the tank hold?
The tank capacity of the Skywater® 14 is 22 liters (5.8 gal). The tank continuously refills as it makes water throughout the day and night.
How do I know how much water is in the tank?
The LCD display has four readings to indicate the water levels in the tank. The display will indicate “tank empty”, “.08 gal. available”, “2.5 gal. available”, or “Tank Full” and “5.8 gal. available”. As long as the machine is on it will indicate on the display “Making Water”; when the machine is full, it will stop to prevent overflow.
How does the machine replenish the tank with more water?
The Skywater® 14 will continuously make water and replenish the tank throughout the day and night.
How much power (kilowatts) does the Skywater® 14 use?
The Skywater 14 runs on approximately 2-4 kilowatts per hour; comparable to a household refrigerator.
What’s involved in the installation for the Skywater® 14? Just plug it into a normal household outlet 115V or 220-230V. Depending upon relative humidity, water should be available within 24 - 72 hours.
What is the best location for the Skywater® 14?
The Skywater® 14 was engineered to work indoors only. It requires ventilation on all sides to function properly; this means 6-12 inches of space on all sides in a well-ventilated area.
What type of filtration is used to purify the water in the Skywater® 14?
The water is treated with Ozone, a chemical free method of purification, which is EPA & FDA approved. It then passes through a carbon filter for additional filtration and to improve taste.
How often would the filters need to be replaced?
Approximately twice a year replace the air and water filter. If the air quality is poor, it’s recommended to change filters more frequently.
What kind of maintenance is required?
The Skywater® 14 needs almost maintenance free. Approximately twice a year replace the air and water filter. If the air quality is poor, it’s recommended to change filters more frequently.
